01

Describe your current role at Tech4LYF.

What does your role at Tech4LYF look like today?

My role changes almost every day.

One morning I may be discussing a manufacturing problem with a customer. Later, I may be reviewing an application architecture, checking the progress of an Industrial IoT implementation, working on a commercial proposal, or discussing a new product idea with the team.

As the founder, I work between technology and business.

My responsibility is not only to bring projects into Tech4LYF. I also need to understand whether we are solving the correct problem, whether the proposed technology is practical, and whether the final solution will create long-term value for the customer.

That combination of problem-solving, customer interaction, technology, and execution is what makes the role interesting for me.

02

How has Tech4LYF shaped the way you lead?

What kind of company are you trying to build?

I want Tech4LYF to become the kind of technology company customers can treat as an extended engineering team rather than simply another software vendor.

Many businesses know they have a problem, but they may not know what technology they actually need.

Our responsibility is to understand their process, ask the right questions, simplify the requirement, and then build a solution that genuinely helps their operation.

Internally, I want our team to think the same way.

I encourage developers to understand why we are building something rather than simply completing the task assigned to them.

When someone understands the business problem behind the software, the quality of the solution changes completely.

03

What work are you most proud of?

What kind of work are you most proud of?

I’m proud of the fact that Tech4LYF has grown across very different areas of technology without losing its focus on solving real business problems.

We have worked on custom enterprise software, mobile applications, Industrial IoT, PLC and automation integrations, ERP implementations, monitoring platforms, and operational digitalization projects.

Some of the projects I enjoy most are those where software interacts with the physical world.

When a machine, PLC, sensor, gateway, application, dashboard, and business process all become part of one connected solution, the challenge becomes much more interesting.

Seeing technology that we built become part of an actual business operation is extremely satisfying.

Journey

Building, learning and evolving.

The Beginning

Starting Tech4LYF

The journey began with a simple objective: build practical technology solutions for businesses and continuously learn from real customer problems. Rather than restricting the company to one programming language, platform, or industry, the focus was on understanding requirements and choosing the appropriate technology for each problem.

04

What has been one of the hardest lessons?

What has entrepreneurship taught you the hard way?

One of my biggest lessons has been understanding that building good technology is only one part of building a company.

Sales, finance, hiring, customer expectations, project management, collections, operations, and execution are equally important.

Being from a technology background, it is very easy to become excited about what can be built.

Over time, I learned to ask a more important question:

“Should we build this, and what measurable problem will it solve?”

That question has changed the way I approach both projects and business decisions.

Not every complex problem requires a complex solution.

Sometimes the best technology decision is the simplest one that works reliably.

05

What keeps you curious outside work?

Who is Akash outside Tech4LYF?

Even outside work, I naturally find myself thinking about products, businesses, and technology.

I enjoy observing how companies operate and questioning why certain processes still require so much manual work.

Many ideas begin with very simple questions:

“Why is this still being done manually?”

“Why do these two systems not communicate?”

“Why does this process require so many steps?”

Sometimes those observations turn into project ideas, product concepts, or experiments inside Tech4LYF.

I also enjoy exploring new technologies and understanding how they can be applied practically rather than using technology simply because it is new.

Words of wisdom

Principles worth carrying forward.

01

Understand Before You Build

Never rush into choosing a technology. Spend enough time understanding the actual business problem first.

02

Technology Is a Tool

The goal is not to use the newest technology. The goal is to choose the technology that solves the problem reliably.
