What has entrepreneurship taught you the hard way?
One of my biggest lessons has been understanding that building good technology is only one part of building a company.
Sales, finance, hiring, customer expectations, project management, collections, operations, and execution are equally important.
Being from a technology background, it is very easy to become excited about what can be built.
Over time, I learned to ask a more important question:
“Should we build this, and what measurable problem will it solve?”
That question has changed the way I approach both projects and business decisions.
Not every complex problem requires a complex solution.
Sometimes the best technology decision is the simplest one that works reliably.
